Let it thunder to the tune of 'Greensleeves’!” Many people believe that King Henry VIII composed Greensleeves during his courtship of Anne Boleyn. Although Henry was an accomplished composer and the lyrics of this song seem to tell the story of their romance, the musical style of the piece dates from after Henry’s death.
