How to Play The Ash Grove on Ukulele

Here’s an easy ukulele tutorial with on-screen lyrics, chords and tab for a Welsh folk song called “The Ash Grove,” one of the songs in our upcoming book “21 Easy Ukulele Folk Songs”!

Learn a two-chord folk song with this Li’l  Liza Jane easy ukulele tutorial complete with lyrics, chords and tab on screen. Li’l Liza Jane is one of the songs in our upcoming book 21 Easy Ukulele Folk Songs.

Because the song is in ¾ time, the strumming pattern follows D-DU-D (D-down, U-up) repetition. Secondly, Jenny gives tips on fingerpicking the chords in the video.
